We are based on Pettus Road in Eaton, so Norwich is not a place we travel to. It is where we live and where most of our week is spent.
Gardens in Norwich
Norwich gardens vary more than people expect for one city. A Victorian terrace off Unthank Road has a long, narrow plot reached only through the house. A thirties semi in Catton has a wide garden with a side gate. A new build on the edge of the city has turf laid straight over builders’ subsoil. The work is not the same in each, and neither is the way we get equipment in and waste out.
Being in the city rather than driving into it changes what is practical. We can come out and quote in the same week, call back to check a job has settled, and get to a blown-down fence panel quickly instead of fitting it around a long drive.
Getting to you Eaton is our base, so anywhere in Norwich is a short drive. Regular maintenance rounds run right across the city, and we can usually get to urgent jobs, such as a fence down after a gale, quickly.

Questions from Norwich customers
01. My garden is only reachable through the house. Is that a problem?
No, and it is common in the terraces around the Golden Triangle and Thorpe Hamlet. It does affect how long a job takes, because everything comes in and goes out by hand and we sheet the route through the house. We will tell you at the quote if access adds time to the price, so it is not a surprise later.
02. Do you cover the whole of Norwich or only the south?
The whole city. We are in Eaton in the south, so NR2 and NR4 are on the doorstep, but Catton, Thorpe Hamlet, Hellesdon and Sprowston are all a short drive and we work across all of them.
03. Can you work in a conservation area?
Yes. Parts of Norwich are conservation areas and there are trees in the city with preservation orders on them. That mostly affects tree work and anything that changes a boundary wall. If your property is affected we will say so before starting and point you at the council instead of pressing on and hoping.
